General Rules & Etiquette
1) Your tournament booking is confirmed
upon receipt of the signed Tournament
Contract and 20% deposit. Deposits are
non-refundable. In the event of weather
a refund can be issued under the
advisement the General Manager. Rain
checks are given only if the golf course
is deemed unplayable and play is
stopped. No rain checks will be offered
for any rentals of clubs, carts, or
meals.
2) All fees must be paid 7 days prior to
tournament date. Any cancellations must
be done 4 weeks prior to tournament
date. Failure to do so will result in
loss of deposit and tournament day.
3) No refund will be given for fewer
participants than that was confirmed and
paid for.
4) A list of players must be submitted
to the Pro-shop on or before the
tournament date. Players should be ready
to tee off 5 – 10 minutes prior to their
assigned tee time. Players will be under
the advisement of the Marshall to ensure
that a fair pace of play is maintained.
5) Power carts must be reserved in
advance. A valid credit card number will
be taken for a security deposit on all
power carts. Carts must be operated in a
safe and courteous manner. Individuals
are responsible for any damages to the
carts. Only two people per cart allowed.
6) 4 players maximum per group and each
player must have their own individual
set of clubs.
7) All food and beverages consumed while
golfing must be dispensed by the “28th
Hole”. This rule is in accordance with
the ALCB and Department of Health
regulations. Failure to do so could
result in the termination of EVERYONE”S
privileges (Player’s & Fort-In-View).
8) Players should dress in suitable
attire. Running shoes are allowed but no
sweat pants, tank tops or extremely
short shorts.
9) Keeping the course in good condition:
* repair ball marks * replace divots *
rake traps * place garbage in the proper
containers * keep pull-carts, bags, and
power carts away from the greens and use
the cart paths whenever possible *
10) Tournament participants will be held
responsible for any personal injury
caused to themselves or other patrons of
Fort in View and any material damage
caused by their actions to the equipment
of Fort-In –View.
11) Fort-In-View reserves the right to
cancel or suspend playing privileges
without refund to any person or the
entire group for violation of any of the
above stated rules or for any action
which is abusive or offensive to the
property and well being of the course
and other patrons.
12) Please make sure all the
participants of your tournament receive
a copy of this and read all conditions.
